Ordering, Shipping, Returns

Ordering and Payments

Customers can place orders on our website as guests or as a registered users. Registered users will establish an account with a Username and Password. All ordering requires you to provide your name, billing address, shipping address, contact information (e-mail address; telephone number), and credit card information. We use PayPal Merchant Services for secure payment management. For payment we accept the following credit cards: Amex, Discover, Master Card, and Visa. An account will retain your information, EXCEPT for your credit card information.

Shipping and Handling

Coffee: We ship our coffee products from the farm directly to customers via USPS Priority Mail. The coffee shipments are carefully packaged for safe transit. Delivery to the U.S. mainland generally takes 2 to 3 days. This method ensures that the roasted coffee beans, whole or ground, are fresh on arrival. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the product and the size of the package. Current rates for shipping within the USA:

0.5 to 1.5 pounds: $7.00
2 to 4 pounds: $13.65
4.5 to 8 pounds: $18.90
8.5 to 9.5 pounds: $27.30
10 to 12 pounds: $32.20
12.5 to 16 pounds: $37.80

Current rates for shipping to Canada:

0.5 to 1.5 pounds: $23.95
2 to 4 pounds: $45.95
4.5 to 8 pounds: $59.95
Over 8 pounds (please contact us directly)

Shipping rates on non-Canadian international orders will vary according to the destination and the package size. Prices can vary from $30 to $94. Please contact us directly to determine the pricing (808-322-0652; absolute.palate@gmail.com).

Gourmet Products: We ship our gourmet products to customers via USPS Priority Mail. Shipments are carefully packaged for safe transit. Delivery to the U.S. mainland generally takes 2 to 4 days. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the product and the size of the package. Current rates for shipping of gourmet products within the USA are the same as listed above for coffee shipments. We are not shipping gourmet products to Canada at this time.

Gourmet Gift Boxes: We ship our gift boxes to customers via FedEx courier service. The shipments are carefully packaged for safe transit. Delivery to the U.S. mainland generally takes 3 to 5 days. We are not shipping gift boxes to Canada at this time. If you wish to have a specific shipping date in the future, please notify us in the comment space “Special Instructions or Comments About Your Order“ when you are setting up your order.

Return Policy

Coffee: The roasted coffee being sent to you is always freshly roasted to order with our fluidized-bed air roaster just before we ship it. We do not maintain inventory of roasted coffee on a shelf to fulfill orders. Given that roasted coffee has a limited shelf-life, we do not accept product returns.

In the case of an error in your order or damage in shipping that compromises the quality of your order, please contact us for resolution of the problem (808-322-0652; absolute.palate@gmail.com).

Gourmet Products: Our gourmet products are sourced from different vendors, who stand by the quality of their items. We deliver these products on the basis of that quality validation. However, if there is a quality issue with any item, please contact us to resolve the problem (808-322-0652; absolute.palate@gmail.com).

Gourmet Gift Boxes: Many of the gourmet products in our gift boxes are sourced from different vendors, who stand by the quality of their items. Each gift box has been organized and hand-decorated in house. If there is a problem with the gift box on delivery, such as being messed up in transit, please contact us to resolve the problem (808-322-0652; absolute.palate@gmail.com).
